Please help your child by correcting errors on their daily reading log before turning it in on Friday. Please correct: indention, transitional words, and adjectives.
Purpose: The reason for daily reading for 20 minutes and typing is to develop comprehension and consistent practice of components when writing a paragraph. The focus is on indent, transitions, and adjectives. Please check for underlined titles.
Typing programs:
Students need to increase their keyboarding skills for CCSS. Please go to typing.com (suggested programs that include finger placing will help the most). Students have their password in their binders.
Cyber bullying;
Information about cyber bullying, digital footprints, and appropriate conduct will be discussed in class and I hope at home as well. This is an important concept to teach at a young age to set protocol.
2020-21 Core values at work:
We always practice our core values of respect, responsibility, caring, trust, teamwork, and perseverance through our yellow ticket system. Students who receive a yellow ticket through the week try their luck at "Corn Hole" on Fridays. In addition, PBIS is the chosen positive behavior plan for our school. Students will receive PAW prints for expected behavior in class and on campus. PAWS will be entered into a drawing for special rewards.
